Dylan Deckard - Owner

Hi, I’m Dylan Deckard—a dedicated childcare professional with a passion for helping kids grow, learn, and thrive in safe and enriching environments.

My journey began in 2015 at Liberty Lake Day Camp in New Jersey, where I discovered my love for working with children. By the time I turned 18, I stepped into a leadership role as a Site Coordinator for before- and after-school programs, gaining hands-on experience in creating structured, supportive spaces for kids and their families.

In 2021, I moved to the Charleston area and joined Charleston County School District, where I continued to grow professionally. During my time there, I was honored to receive an award from the Chief Operating Officer and three additional recognitions from a Director—all acknowledgments of the care, commitment, and consistency I bring to my work.

Golden Kids is my next chapter—a chance to build something from the ground up that truly puts kids first. It's not just a business; it's a vision for what childcare should be: nurturing, safe, inspiring, and child-centered.

Currently, I’m furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Clemson University. My goal is to continue growing as a leader in youth development and make a lasting impact in the lives of children and the communities we serve.
